RTL compiler version issue?

 Hi,

I have a syntheis flow in place and able to synthesise the RTL and do scan chain inserstion without any issues with 7.2 version of RTL compiler. However with latest release of RTL comipler I get unconnected in the netlist for "DFT_sdo" port

I am not able to figure out the root cause. I havent done any changes in the flow from 7.2 version to latest version.

What could be the cause for this unconnected  port?

Regards,

-Deepak

     Hi Deepak,

obviously there have been changes since 7.2 and 10.1.200. Unfortunately in order to help you, we will need a little more information. Without a script or something that shows the steps you are taking I can only venture guesses of things that could have an impact. I suggest you post the script or if that is not possible contact your local AE. Will drop a note if I can think of the culprit

    regards,

    gh-

     Hi gh,

Thanks for the reply. I will raise a service request with cadence as that will be more formal. I am not very sure if I can post the scripts here.

    Regards,

    -Deepak
