RC Behavior with the effort levels

 Hi All,

What is the RC behavior of the DP component selection & Optimization, with the

  synthesize -to_generic -effort high

 and

   synthesize -to_generic -effort medium.

Most of the DP optimizations done better with effor high .. !! .. What is the effect on the LEC & area for the dp optimizations .. ??

Thanks

     Hi,

RC optimizes the datapath better with 'synth -to_gen -effort high'. With the RC 10.1.200 release,

the RC - LEC verification flow also has been enhanced to verify the advanced optimizations performed

in the high effort mode. You can expect area improvement as well when sharing kicks in.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

    Regards,
    Sandeep Kumar
