Using Ocean scripts to calculate simulation data.

archive
archive over 17 years ago

I've successfully simulated a design with an Ocean script, but now I want to calculate information from the waveforms as I can with the calculator. For example, I try this: energy = integ( getData(":pwr") 0 900n) printf("%f\n" energy) All I get is 0.0000. Anybody know what might be going on?

    adbaile,
I have no idea what's going on, but I can tell you that this isn't the correct forum for posting this question. This forum is relating to digital logic synthesis and test. Not sure where the right place is, but I didn't want you to be waiting for an answer from this forum. In what tool are you executing the Ocean script? Pardon my ignorance, but I am a synthesis guy :-)

    Regards,

Thanks, I'm new to the forum for this post and didn't see a great place to look right away. This is more related to testing than design, so I started here. I'm using the Ocean script to run simulations with the Virtuoso Analog Environment. I actually load and run the script from the main icfb tool window.

    adbaile,
I thought this was an Virtuoso question, but wasn't 100% sure. I'd suggest trying the CustomIC forum. I expect you will have better luck getting answer there.
