Can we read extracted timing model in RC

archive
archive over 17 years ago

I have a PHY block in my design, this is a hard block and
I have received the  .lib format view for PHy, RC flagged an error when trying to read this library. When I open the libraries I see lot of create generated clock statements, and timing model is of type "extracted" , I believe that these are QTM libraries, is there any way I can make RC read them.
Meanwhile PT does not have any issues with the library.

    Hi madhun,

I cannot say that I've had any such issues. Frequently, QTMs are just that, "quick" and therefore PT reading them does not mean much about synthesis tools. Same can frequently be said about the .lib from a stamp model. Does the error message provide any idea of what the problem may be ?
