Running BuildGates and Encounter from one single shell

archive
archive over 17 years ago

Hello All, I am using BuildGates for synthesis of verilog codes and first Encounter for place & route. I am wondering if that's possible to source both from one single command file. We have put all required commands for BuildGates and Encounter in two tcl files and now we need to glue these in one shut. The problem is when a unix shell is changing from tcsh to bgx_shell (or from bgx_shel->tcsh->encounter) variables and history of commands are missed and it cannot follow the flow. Thanks for your comments, Ali Naderi
