 hi,

this is the question related to RC tool, where i do not want to specify any constraints on the hierarchial boundaries of my design.

how do i proceed doing the same.

thanks

I am not sure I understand the purpose of this. In general it is better and more portable to specify lax constraints than no constaints and rely on tool defaults.

The RC timing analysis document is a good source of information regarding how to constraint a design.

     good luck,

    gh-
