to clarify the policy for the CDNLive! proceedings:

for three months after the conference, the proceedings are visible only to attendees of the event
after three months, and for the subsequent three months, the proceedings are visible to all member of the Cadence user community.
after six months, the proceedings are available to the public.

The Cadence Designer Network Steering committee, comprised of 12 customers and 4 Cadence VPs, have formulated this policy as a way to add value to the attendees of the event and to members of the community.

Was there a paper written for Session 3.10: Automating Functional ECOs using Encounter Conformal Technology? I was hoping to get some more information than what is contained in the presentation slides.

Thanks,

Rocky

Hi Rocky

Yes, there was a paper on Encounter Conformal ECO Designer presented by AMD engineers. Papers are available only to conference attendees the first 3 months however.

For more information on the tool, please contact your account manager or application engineer.

OK, maybe I didn't explain myself.

I attended the conference and I attended this presentation. I downloaded the proceedings and it only contained the presentation. I was hoping there would be an actual paper for this session (3.10) in the proceedings, but there wasn't.

Did someone not remember to include the paper in the downloadable proceedings? Or was it never generated?

Thanks,

Rocky

H Rocky,

The presenter did not submit a paper for the event, only the powerpoint presentation.

I thought you had to submit a paper in order to be chosen to present at the conference. The expression "Call for papers" comes to mind.

Hi Rocky, the presenters are given the option of presenting a paper for this conference. Presentation slides, however, are required because they are presented in a meeting room environment using a projector and screen.
