How to keep connectivity in XL with resistors

Hi,

I am currently using IC6.1.5  I am using XL to generate my devices. The problem I have is when I have a long resistor string such as series of 50 for example but in layout I need to draw it in 5 rows of 10. Is there a way to inplement this without having to ask the designer to change the schematic into 5 pieces of 10 series? I would like the other pieces to still keep the schematic link.

Thanks in Advance,

D

Search in cdnshelp for "sfactor" or "sfactorNames". Not sure if this is quite what you want, but it might help. Virtuoso Layout Suite XL has support for splitting a device based on an "sfactor" similar to the way that mfactor can be done in parallel.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
