Cadence 6 Analog IC Layout. How to Stop Screen Repaint

 Is there a way to stop this? The layout repaints/refreshes every time I pan across. And there is a lot of panning and moving

when one is doing layout.....

  • I'm not quite sure how it could not repaint when panning - because it needs to draw the shapes that were previously not visible.

    This should be pretty quick, so it's probably something to do with your setup. Either you're using some remote display tool that isn't working terribly effectively, or you have set parameters like (say) filterSize too small.

    Probably best to contact customer support so that we can take a look with you and understand your problem, and look at your setup.
