Hi

I started to simulate a ciruit contains only mosfets (n and p type) using spectre and i had no problem with that

but when i added a resistor i have this error:

Error found by spectre during AHDL read-in.

ERROR (VACOMP-1008): Cannot compile ahdlcmi module library. Check the log file input.ahdlSimDB/bsource_1.input.ahdlcmi/Linux3.11.0-15-generic+gcc/ for details. If the compiler ran out of memory, use 'setenv CDS_CMI_COMPLEVEL 0', and try again. If the reason for the failure was a syntax error, contact your Cadence Customer Support representative with the netlist, log files, behavioral model files, and any other information that can help identify the problem.

so can any one help me with this problem

Did you do what the error message told you to do?

Based on the most common situations this happens in, are you running MMSIM11.1 or later on a 32-bit operating system? Type:

    spectre -W
    uname -a
    cat /etc/redhat-release

in a UNIX terminal and post what it says. Also attach (via the Options tab when replying to a post) the log file that it mentions (usually called something like ahdlcmi.out) when replying so I can look at the details of the failure.

    Kind Regards,

    Andrew.
