Simulation Directory

WARNING (ADEXL-1694): Plotting cannot be performed for the run 'Interactive.9' because the local simulation results directory has been used for simulation data. - THIS IS THE ERROR MESSAGE I RECEIVE

  • This will be because you've used Options->Save and turned on the "Use Local Simulation Results Directory" checkbox. This allows ADE XL to make use of faster local disk for simulation, but the assumption is that this disk storage is not network accessible, and so you cannot plot any waveforms afterwards. It's fine if you're computing results (i.e. measurements) because those are also done on the remote end, but if you want to plot waveforms you should not use this option.
