how to interrupt layout refresh in ic5141

Hi,

Just wondering in ic 5141 layout editor, is there such feature (hotkey) to stop layout refresh, this is be very beneficial and time saving when parameters like "display level" and "filter size" etc are not set to optimal when viewing a layout that is big, i.e. chip top level.

thanks,

Kevin

Maybe ctrl-C is being caught by your window manager - this has always been available in Virtuoso (DFII and Edge too if I remember correctly). I just tried it in IC5141 and it worked perfectly for me.

Perhaps you can contact customer support so that we can figure out why it doesn't work or you - what environment issue is causing the problem. Obviously we can't fix IC5141 since it is no longer maintained (since it was released 11 years ago), but I doubt this is something that needs IC5141 fixing since it works in general...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
