*WARNING* There is already an active job

Hi Cadence,

I am doing a LVS, and the following Warning is obtained:

*WARNING* There is already an active job with the same run name and run directory

Do you want to stop that job and start this one?

When I choose Yes, I obtain the following log:

Schematic and Layout Match
*WARNING* (reader): a '(' at line 1 was still unclosed on EOF, ')' added
                    at line 1 of string "1 0 (2127 "nme""

1 0 (2129 "nmei"")"
                  ^
SYNTAX ERROR found at line 1 column 19 of file *string*
*Error* lineread/read: syntax error encountered in input
******* Non-recoverable error (no top-level or error handler)
******* Exiting program ...
*WARNING* (reader): string at line 1 was not terminated on EOF, '"' added
                    at line 1 of string "1 0 (2129 "nmei"")"

*****  nvn fork terminated abnormally  *****

*WARNING* nvn exit with bad status
*WARNING* Status 65280
*WARNING* Assura execution terminated

How could I fix these problems?

Thanks for the attention,

Rafael

    Rafael,

I couldn't find any similar issue (there was something about popups arising if you ran DRC and LVS at the same time, but not with the errors you're seeing). Please report this to customer support. I think you may be at a University, so you have to go through the normal support route for your university (I think we'd need to see the data to be able to debug).

    Regards,

    Andrew.
