conversion tool

Hi,

Is it possible to convert files from Cadence3.4o to Cadence 6.1.6. 080 ?
I did these before for converting Cadence5 files to Cadence6. It is working both by command and by the iterative CDB to OA conversion tool.

But I did for Cadence3 files, I get the sublibraries as cell views :-(

Thanks in advance.

There was never a "Cadence3" (I don't know what you mean by "Cadence" either, because that's the company name, not the software name). However, assuming you mean the version of the IC tools, there has never been a version 3. We went from 2.4 (sometimes called "Edge") to 4.0 (Opus), 4.1, 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.3, 4.3.2, 4.3.3, 4.3.4, 4.4, 4.4.1, 4.4.2, 4.4.3, 4.4.5, 4.4.6, 5.0.32, 5.0.33, 5.1.41 and then to the IC61X releases. (I may have missed some out here).

So what are you talking about? Please be precise...

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Hey Andrew, Sorry for the misconception. It was AMS kit version 3. Later It was ok, that I managed to convert the files with some reasonable warnings.
    Thanks :-)
