a doubt about global flag in model file of a KIT-in generic

Hey,

I am using a kit of 130nm technology. I can see inside my Monte Carlo model file somewhere written as--

"// Global Flags Definition Not Supported for that DesignKit version"

and I have the global flags assigned with values.

Does this statement mean that if the user change the global definition values it will not affect the mismatch ? What is the exact meaning of this statement in the Monte Carlo model file ?

thanks in advance

You'd have to ask whoever provided those models, since this is presumably something specific to however the models you're using have been implemented - it's not a generic thing for the simulator. You didn't mention which 130nm technology you're using, so nobody in the community would be able to help you (unless by some strange chance they recognise the comment in the model files).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Hi,
    Thanks Andrew.
    I am using ST130nm in CADENCE IC 6.1.6 130.

I have two flags in the model -> 1. Global flags and 2.SOA flags. I have this comment after the global flag values.

I don't have access to these models myself, so can't answer (I suspect there's more than one ST 130nm technology anyway). You should ask ST...

    Regards,

    Andrew.
