Compliance current setting in a voltage source.

Hello,

I am doing some experiments on-chip using semiconductor analyser, where I can set a compliance current in the voltage source. Now I need to simulate a similar circuit. So, I need a voltage source where I should set compliance current in it. Is this possible in simulation ???

Thanks in advance

The built-in voltage source doesn't have a compliance current (it would effectively need a non-zero output impedance to do this). That would require an enhancement request. You might be able to build a current limiter with VerilogA to achieve the same thing (I didn't try doing this by the way).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Yes, Verilog-A is another option, which I tried. Thanks
