best resources and RAKs on Verilog A, Verilog AMS and AMS designer, ADE assembler test/verification and SimVision

Hello,

As the thread title implies, I was hoping someone could point me in the right directions as to what are best resources on Verilog A, Verilog AMS design on the support site. Any RAK which servers as a starter guide on AMS designer, ADE assembler and SimVision would be great as well.

  • Did you try going to support.cadence.com? In the Resources menu at the top, going to Rapid Adoption Kits, and then searching for (say) AMS Designer, ADE Assembler or Simvision (in the "Search in Rapid Adoption Kits" box). There are quite a few to choose from, so hopefully you can find a good fit for your needs.

    Thanks for the reply. I have found a reference document on the support site for verilog A which is proving useful. Since there are a lot of them, I will go through the search results to find any relevant to my interests.

    I have another unrelated request. Are there RAKs ( with example circuits ) which go over simulation setup for periodic steady state and periodic ac analysis? I have seen examples for pnoise and pstab online. Off the top of your head, do you have recommendations for ones which deal with pss and pac analysis? I am working on simulating switched capacitor circuits and some documentation would be helpful.

    For the RF analyses, there is the workshop material in <SPECTREinstDir>/tools/spectre/examples/SpectreRF_workshop/rfworkshop.tar.Z . I don't know of a specific RAK on using PSS etc for Switch Capacitor circuits - however, a good paper on simulating switch cap circuits can be found on this page on the Designer's Guide Site.
