I have a standard cell lib with layout view, sch view, symbol

and I want to import verilog file which is composed o gate standard cell

when I use virtuoso File -> import -> verilog menu

I fill with Target Library Name, Reference Libraries, Verilog Files To Import, and Verilog Cell Modules

after push Apply or OK button

CIW says VerilogIn import completed. Plese look at logfile ./verilogIn.log

the Log says @(#)$CDS: ihdl.exe versin 5.1.0 10/28/2008 10:23 (cicln03) $ today's DATE

When I look Library Manager -> target library there is nothing

so I want to know How can I import verilog file

That sounds reasonable other than using a 11 year old version of the software. I can't see from what you've shown above why it should be failing. Is there a good reason why you're using such an ancient version?

Without seeing the data you're trying to import I'm not sure anyone can help that much - perhaps you should contact customer support (although there is a bit of a limit to what we can do if you're using such an old, no-longer-supported version).

    Regards,

    Andrew.

There is a reason why I using such an ancient version. because foundary vendor offer that version recommanded.

When I using IC 6.1.7 ignoring foundary vendor's recommandation, the log syas ERROR (VERILOGIN-540): visadev load failed

I doubt the problem with IC617 has any thing to do with the foundry's recommendation. It's more likely to do with your environment setup.

See: ERROR (VERILOGIN-540): visadev load failed

Did you look at the article I referenced which talked about ensuring that your PATH and LD_LIBRARY_PATH are setup correctly?

Either way, the best approach for this is customer support as I mentioned earlier.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
