Ocean Script (AMS simulator): How to save only digital or analog nets

Hi,

May I know to modify the following ocean script to save only the digital or analog nets?

ocnWaveformTool( 'wavescan )
simulator( 'ams )
solver( 'UltraSim )

...

saveOption( 'netLevelsToSave "all" )
saveOption( 'save "all" )

Regards,

Poh Weng

    Hi hippoo,

I don't think you can do this in OCEAN using a saveOption statement simply because you don't know what are Analog and what are Digital signals in your design. It is only at elaboration time that discipline resolution is done and therefore get to know which signal is Analog, digital or otherwise. Therefore, your best best is to create a TCL file that gets loaded by simvision once the simulation starts, there you can decide to only save digital signals. I might be able to put a quick example sometime next week. BTW, digital and analog signals are saved into different database.
