control verilog search path in virtuoso "check"

What controls the search path for any `include in a systemVerilog, or for that matter verilog, verilogams, or veriloga, file when I click the check/extract/save icon (or pick File->Extract menu choide) in the Virtuoso text editor?  I can set my include path for running sims via xrun on the command line or from within ADE using ams as the simulator but I'm not finding the magic to be able to find some of my includes from within the editor.  Surely it is simple!

Thanks

    Hi Dan,

How can I specify an include path for including files in the SystemVerilog text editor in Virtuoso?

    Regards,

    Andrew
