Ghost test shows up

Hello,

Whenever I create a new test in ade xl from a schematic xl view, a test that was not created shows up by default.

I find this to be very strange because I haven't created such a test. I haven't saved it in the state the test.

I am attaching the picture.

OK, you don't mean a test. You mean an analysis. This is almost certainly because you've managed to save default settings into (probably) your home ~/.cdsenv file for a dc analysis which mean that it ends up enabled by default.

    Andrew.

    Hello Andrew,

Thanks for your prompt response. To debug where this analysis is coming from, the first thing I did was to remove the .cdsenv file by saving it as .cdsenv_bk so that I wont access the .cdsenv.

I created a new test and this ghost analysis shows up.

    Thanks a lot.

DId you quit Virtuoso after moving the file? It won't help if you didn't restart Virtuoso. It would also be worth checking whether the file contained any dc analysis setup entries (because it's possible it's coming from a different file - could be in your working directory for example, depending on whether you've enabled loading of .cdsenv from the working dir - which isn't done by default).

    Andrew.

    Hello Andrew,

You are absolutely right.  I opened a new virtuoso session and that did the magic.

    Thank you as always.
