Command to know INCISIVE version

Dear All,

Can anybody please tell me to know the command to find my current INCISIVE version.

I have just installed INCISIVE152. I think it is the latest INCISIVE version

But when I am trying to run AMS sim, I get the following errors.

*ERROR* (AMS-2141): The INCISIV installation being used is not compatible with the AMS Unified Netlisting (AMS UNL) flow. To run AMS Unified Netlister, either use INCISIV 13.20-s007 or a later release, or use other AMS netlisters.

Kind Regards,

If you run "irun -version" it will tell you.

However, the INCISIVE release was replaced by XCELIUM (INCISIVE152 was the final INCSIVE release in 2015, and whilst it's had updates there has been plenty of time to move across to XCELIUM - I'd be very surprised if your licenses were not now using XCELIUM products).

So I would suggest moving to XCELIUM2009.

    Andrew.

    Dear Andrew,

Thanks a lot for the reply.

I initially installed XCELIUM2009 to replace my current INCISIVE version. But, it says that it can't fetch license for XCELIUM.

Do we need a different license for XCELIUM ?

Yes, but given that the products were changed several years ago, it's quite surprising if you've not migrated to the latest version.

What exactly is the error you're getting? You would probably be better off talking to customer support as then we could check your configuration.

    Andrew.

Well, that's for XCELIUM1903, not 2009, but you're likely to get similar issues if the license file doesn't contain the current products.

I suggest you look at the license features in the license file and see if any of the "Xcelium" products are present.  You should also be able to check the license server license log file to see if it gives information as to why it's failing (obviously if the licenses are present, then it's going to fail).

If they are missing and you only have INCISIVE products, then you should contact your account team to get the products migrated or to come up with a plan to address that.

As a stopgap you can probably install the latest INCISIVE152 hotfix to ensure UNL support. Although it's a bit odd that it would complain with that error since UNL has been supported since INCISIVE132.

    Andrew.
