How to Save selected ADHL variable in VarilogA Model

Hello all,

I am looking for a way to save only the selected variable from the Verilog-A model.

I am using saveahdlvars  = all, it worked well, but occupies a huge space on disk.
So i can not run the whole simulation.

So I am trying to use, saveahdlvars  = selected  but I dont know how o where can I select which variable I want to save.

Thanks in advance

Alberto

    Hi Alberto,

Use Outputs->To be Saved->Select OP Parameters. Then click on the instance of the Verilog-A block. In the output pane, you can either type in the name of the variable you wish to save, or you can use the "..." button and ask it to get from simulation (which will offer you the choice of all available variables).

Not entirely obvious, I guess, but the internal variables are effectively similar to operating point data produced by other models - so you can use this mechanism to save operating point parameters during transient/dc sweeps to achieve the same thing...

Once added to the outputs, you can check the "plot" checkbox to get it plotted, or you can use the OT() function in the calculator to retrieve it.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

    Yes, it is not straightforward.
