AMS simulation speed

Hi,

I am running AMS, transient simulation for the stop time = 500u.... it takes around half an hour. I don't know if it is typical or not.

Anyway, is there any way to decrease the AMS simulation time and make it faster?

BTW, in my simulation setup I have some Analog parts,a few Verilog described blocks and also two Verilog-A described blocks.

Thanks

Mostafa

    Dear Mostofa,

From my perspective, your question is too vague for me to provide any specific information regarding decreasing your simulation time.

    Sorry,

    Shawn

0.5h for a 500us simulation is quite normal for me.

If you have set APS and it's still slow, then try Ultrasim, ADEL-Simulation-Solver
