Hi, is there a easy way to delete the last "\n" of a string in verilog AMS? what I tried:
// *** this way works ***
sring txt_old, txt_new;
integer return,i;
return=$fgets(txt_old,fp1);
txt_new="";
for(i=0;i<return-1;i=i+1) txt_new={txt_new,txt_old[i]}
$fdisplay(fp2,"%s",txt_new);
// *** this way does not work ***
return=$fgets(txt_old,fp1);
txt_old[return-1]="\0";
$fdisplay(fp2,"%s",txt_old);
