Hello, Is there a book on amazon whych shows the theory and step by step implemetation of sigma delta ADC in cadence virtuoso?
Thanks.

What is unique about implementing a sigma delta ADC in virtuoso? A sigma delta ADC can be simulated in most all circuit simulators. The main issue is deciding the specific implementation for a sigma-delta ADC, including its parameters. This topic is the subject of many, many papers as well as contained in many textbooks. If you have an IEEE membership, a number of tutorials are available. For example, the paper

    J. M. de la Rosa, "Sigma-Delta Modulators: Tutorial Overview, Design Guide, and State-of-the-Art Survey," in IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, vol. 58, no. 1, pp. 1-21, Jan. 2011, doi: 10.1109/TCSI.2010.2097652.

is available for download at URL:

    ieeexplore.ieee.org/.../5672380

There is a Cadence supplied veriloga model of a first order sigma-delta documented in the On-line support URL:

    Cadence Verilog-A Language Reference -- Sample Model Library - Sigma-Delta Converter (first-order)

if you simply need a behavioral model to help understand the impact of its required parameters on some type of performance metric in a spectre simulation.

I apologize, but your question is a bit unclear to me as I am not sure of your end objective, but hope my response spurs some insight for you.
