getData "noise" not listed in calculator

Hi, I'm trying to get some expressions working in ADE Explorer that were used in ADEXL.

I have a working noise simulation, but I haven't been able to get an expression like:

value(getData("/vout" ?result "noise") 1000000)

to work. I noticed when I try to build it using the Calculator, that in the dropdown menu, "noise" isn't listed as an analysis type. Has this changed?

Thanks, Chris

The output data of a noise analysis is not the name of the node. It's just called "out" - so you'd use getData("out" ?result "noise"). Or VN() or VN2() depending on the units you want.

You specify the output node in the analysis set up itself - it computes the total amount of noise referred to that output node.

    Andrew.

Doh! The danger of having generic output names. Thanks, that was it exactly!
