Hi,

I am trying to simulate this circuit in virtuoso (ADE L) . i am unable to decide which instance to use for V3,I2 and I4. can somebody please help me with the same. and how to configure them . I am new to this, can somebody help me the same. i need to do dc analysis (node voltage calculation)

Kind Regards

Use vsource (from analogLib) for voltage sources (V1), and isource for current source (I4) (you could also use vdc or idc since these are just dc sources; they have the same effect - they are just vsource/isource under the hood. The V3 appears to be a current-controlled voltage source, and for that you should use ccvs from analogLib and specify Vprobe as the "Name of voltage source" parameter - and the gain (trans resistance) would be 2. I2 would be a vccs (voltage-controlled current source) with a gain of 4 - it has two pins to allow you to measure the controlling voltage across V1.

    What should be the vprobe?

Either a vsource with dc=0 or an "iprobe". Both are effectively zero-volt sources only there for measuring the current.
