Cadence virtuoso Vs. ADS

Hammam

Hello everyone,

I am using ADS for simulating H-bridge and I have an antenna circuit using NRZ signalling. I looked into the ADS website which shows that it is compatible with Cadence virtuoso and I wonder what can Cadence do over the ADS simulator? I am working on mixed signals.

All the best

There is a Rapid Adoption Kit document and example that details the methodology to import ADS based models into Virtuoso. The document is at the On-line Support URL:

I can't add anything regarding your question as I do not have recent experience with the ADS simulation methodologies. I do, however, believe the scope of Virtuoso tools far exceeds the more RF/Microwave focused ADS.

In addition to Shawn's feedback, if you're already a Cadence customer, then you should contact your account team. If not, contact your local office or if unsure you could make a sales enquiry via  Send Us A Message on the main Cadence web site. This is the kind of question that really needs a more detailed discussion on your needs to determine which tools would be the best fit and what the advantages of those might be.
