dynamic selection totally freezes layout xl when there are many connectivity warnings

Dymamic selection is a great tool for inspecting layout, but in Layout XL after Check it totally freezes with zillions of Markers - Connectivity. What can we do about this? Is there any option to limit Dynamic Selection display? Or it could be some deadlock with Net Tracer, which was running at the same time to probe some wires.

Screenshot below, frozen now several minutes

If Markers are set to not be visible in the palette (which is usually the default), they don't show up in the dynamic selection assistant. From your screen shot, I see they are marked as being visible in the Objects palette.

I'm a little surprised there are quite so many markers, to be honest.

Thanks, this will help. The reason we have so many markers is that most of our layout is not XL compliant (it is OLD) and when we run XL check with hierarchy we get zillions of errors.

The other workaround is simply to delete these markers in cells before trying to run Dynamic Selection.
