[xmsim][Internal Exception]

hi all,

 this is a report on error "INTERR" in AMS simulation:

// ================ 1. additional info ================ //

here are some warnings in terminal regarding:

[1] module "encodings"
[2] command "gdb"
[3] share object file "liblzma.so.0"

// ================ 2. experiment ================ //

step I.     simulator = spectre   ==>   succeed
step II.    simulator = ams        ==>   error "INTERR"
step III.   simulator = spectre   ==>   stuck at "netlisting finished"

these 3 simulations are based on exactly the same testbench.
it seems like the simulation process keeps being occupied in
backgroud (even though I manually cancel it before moving to step III.).
not sure is there a way to explicitly control those simulation processes in background...

// ================ 3. tool versions ================ //

    This is not the support portal. This is a community forum and so it's not the place to report crashes, bugs etc - you should do that via Cadence Support (submit a case after logging in). This appears to be related to your other post so please see my answer there as you appear to be using Cadence releases which are not supported on the OS you're using.
