Using fsdb exported waveform as an stimulus in AMS simulation

I want to use an FSDB simulation waveform as a stimulus in an AMS simulation.

For a similar purpose in the Spectre environment, I read on this forum that I should open the FSDB file in Viva and export it as a 'Spectre' type. Then, I can use 'vsource' from analogLib and simply point to the exported file as a PWL source in the vsource properties. I have done this, and it works in Spectre environment. However, now I am trying to use the same input source in the AMS environment, but it is not working. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue please?

    Mostafa,

I can't think of any good reason why that would not work. Are you using a current version of XCELIUM and SPECTRE for the simulation? Probably would be a good idea to contact customer support (submit a support case after logging in).

    Hi Andrew,

Problem solved and I could make it work in AMS. I couldn't figure out what was the issue though. I wanted delete my post when problem was solved, but I did not find the "delete" option.

    Thank you
