does pnoise number of points affect the integrated power?

Hi all,

Does the number of points calculated by pnoise affect the integrated output noise given the minimum and maximum spectrum frequency or does it affect only the way it is plotted?

If it is not just a matter of how the plot's frequency resolution will be, how should this number be chosen?
I would assume that the integrated noise will be the sum of each calculated point's power multiplied by the width of its bin, is this correct? Therefore I would expect that the lower the number of points the less accurate the integrated output noise would be, or does this only depend on the number of harmonics in the pss?

Thank you
