analogLib in cadence 6.1.5 (LNA simulation)

 Hello,

I was looking for some help. I am a graduate student who is looking to perform some s parameter analysis on a LNA. The version of cadence licensed to my university (UMKC) is 6.1.5. Most tutorials have the schematic drawn with parts from the library called analogLib. My university seems to only have the NCSU CDK tools and libraries. Is it possible to do s parameter analysis using these libraries? or is there some way to add analogLib to my university's license?

I had this sort of analysis in mind.

You need to talk to your Cadence Representative at your university (often it is the department chair).  They can log you into http://support.cadence.com .   Your versions of MMSIM are pretty old and no longer supported.  If you can update to MMSIM 13.1.1, that is optimal.

There are older tutorials in the MMSIM hierarchy at: <path_to_MMSIM>/tools.lnx86/spectre/examples/SpectreRF_workshop

In that directory, you will see: rfworkshop.tar.Z

Uncompress/untar that directory.  There will be an LNA workshop - tutorial and example database.  I'm not positive if sp analysis is in there (it's a pretty old example/release)...but it should be.

    Best regards,
