If you are looking for examples of using ADE Explorer (maestro) with RF Designs, we have many.   This is documented in Article 20463330:

SpectreRF AppNotes and Tutorials - One of our best kept secrets!

    RF_Doc_Database

Documentation can be found here:  Spectre Circuit Simulator and Accelerated Parallel Simulator RF Analysis in ADE Explorer Workshop -- Introduction - Using SpectreRF from the MMSIM Hierarchy

Workshop Database is located here:  <SPECTRE17.1 or 18.1>/tools.lnx86/spectre/examples/SpectreRF_workshop/RF_Doc_Database.tar.gz

SpectreRF Workshop 18.1 (later ISRs) and 19.1

    Located in <SPECTRE18.1>/tools.lnx86/spectre/examples/SpectreRF_workshop/spectrerf_workshop_18.1.tar.gz

It's not a matter of "premium cadence users". All customers with maintenance can have support.cadence.com access, including universities. There's a mechanism via the university program by which users can have access to a "light" account for support (which can access the documents, but can't log support requests; these have to go via one of the university contacts or in the case of the Europractice scheme, via Europractice themselves).

Anyway, the databases that Tawna mentions are in the SPECTRE installation. The second document can be found by running <SPECTREinstDir>/bin/cdnshelp - it's also on the support site, but also is shipped with the software. The first document that Tawna mentions is really just an overview of what's available.

However, it's not really clear what you were asking for when you asked:

A manual about what? Examples of what? As part of the cdnshelp that I mention above, there are manuals galore - I really don't know what you're looking for. If you can create a support account via your institution, there are also lots of Rapid Adoption Kits available too, which are worked tutorials on various subjects.

    Regards,

    Andrew.

Hello Andrew, i am  using already installed cadence virtuoso on our server,

How can i find the SPECTREinstDir, the directory where SPECTRE was installed from the cadence startup window or something related to it?(so i can start learning this new tool with the manuals you pointed to)

    Thanks

Two ways. One is to look in the spectre log file that appears when you run a simulation. You'll see something like this:

    Command line:
    /export/home/apps/SPECTRE181_isr/tools.lnx86/bin/spectre -64 \
    input.scs +escchars +log ../psf/spectre.out -format psfxl -raw \
    ../psf -I/export/home/myuser/demos/OCEAN/Models +lqtimeout 900 \
-maxw 5 -maxn 5 -env ade -ahdllibdir \
    ...

The installation path will be the bit before the tools.lnx86 directory highlighted above.

Alternatively, in a terminal window, type:

    spectre_root

which should tell you the same information.

    Regards,

    Andrew.
