Hello, after plotting gm_id vs Vgs ,wen i tried to get another parameter it shows me a list of one parameter as shown bellow.

Where did i go wrong?
Thanks

It will only list the parameters you saved (via the Outputs->To be Saved->Select OP Parameters). Presumably you didn't save them all?

Some PDKs might have subckt models and only make available certain parameters, but this is gpdk045 and so that shouldn't be the case.

This is nothing to do with whether it's ADE L or Assembler. If you didn't save it, the OS function can't retrieve it as there's nothing to retrieve!

In the screenshot you detailed in your just posted comment, please go to the "Outputs Setup" tab and using your mouse, point and click on the oscilloscope probe just above the "+" tab with the green background. This will allow you to add an output or waveform expression or other element as an output to a particular test (see Figure 1). Alternately, drop down to Explorer from your current Assembler test and you will locate the , perhaps more familiar to you, "Outputs" menu.

The equivalent in Assembler is the menu that Shawn pointed too - it's the "OP Parameters" choice, but hitting the down-arrow next to the test name would take you to Explorer for that test, and then. you can use the menu I described (which is the same in Explorer and ADE L)

Hello Andrew, I have created the Ft plot vs vgs where ft=gm/(6.28*cgg) in gpdk45nm with L=180nm W=1u.

is this correct behavior for NMOS of gpdk? i get values in giga.

It's a 45nm process, so the capacitances are quite small, and if that's how you're computing ft, then it seems reasonable. I've seen it computed using gm/(2pi*(cgd+cgs)) but that gives a similar answer; cgg also includes the gate/bulk capacitance, but that's much smaller so the effect is insignificant.

The bsim4 model also has an operating point parameter ft, but it always seems to output nan (not-a-number) in my experiments, so something maybe wrong (I don't have the time to do a detailed investigation, and I didn't find any reports of issues with this, but maybe nobody is using it).
