How to export a ISCF (Intel Schematic Checking Format) file from 17.2 Cadence/Allegro PCB Designer ?

Is it possible to export a ISCF (Intel Schematic Checking Format) file from 17.2 Cadence/Allegro PCB Designer ?

Searching the internet I see demos with orcad capture, but this doesn't translate to 17.2 Cadence/Allegro.

Thanks for the help.

You can't generate the ISCF file from within Allegro, the only option is to output it from Capture ( which calls the geniscfnetlist program )

Hi David.  Thank you for the reply.

I can't figure out how to get my design into Capture.  I do see in Allegro PCB Designer, Tools -> Library Tools -> Export -> Design Entry HDL to Orcad Capture.

It asks for a 'Library' and 'Cell'.  For library I select 'card_lib'.  For cell I select 'card'.  Hitting 'OK', the translation fails with a LCaptureConceptUI64 window indicating 'Encountered
    an improper argument.'.

A new window labelled 'Select symbols' appears.  This looks like it wants me to select DesignEntryHDL symbols to export to a Capture library.

Am I barking up the right tree?

    Thanks.

    Wrong tree...

That conversion tool only converts schematic symbols, Cadence doesn't supply anything to convert Concept to OrCad schematics

Elgris Technologies (www.elgris.com) can translate Concept schematics to OrCAD and can translate OrCAD schematics to Concept
