Power pins reported in DRC as output?

I have a schematic (handed to me) that is reporting most (if not all) GND net pins as a DRC error:

Error(ORCAP-1628)
ERROR(ORCAP-1628): Possible pin type conflict
X2,GND Power Connected to Output

Every one of these instances is a standard GND symbol from the Orcad library connected to a ground pin on an IC...and in every case the pin direction is set to POWER, not OUTPUT.

Why is the DRC tool identifying pins clearly set to POWER as OUTPUT pins?

There will be a DRC marker on the component with a possible pin-type conflict. Select the component and go to the edit part. You could check the pin types of each pin there to get the issue resolved
