Display/add net Classes in Schematic

Hello!

Is there a way to see for example the spacing class on a net in the schematic without going into constraints manager? or add nets to a class?

So to explain a bit further:

Lets say I have made multi page schematic and I want to add physical spacing constrains to my nets. I can do this by going into constraint manager but it's a little inconvenient sometimes as most nets will have a long Nxxxx number and going back and forth between schematic and constraint manager to look which net is which is a bit slow. Of course I can make it easier by naming all my nets properly but I'm just wondering if there's an alternative I have missed.

You used to be able to set a property for a net that could be displayed, for example NET_SPACING_TYPE but it wont let me do that now since constraints manager is enabled for the schematic design.

It would also be great if I could hover or click on a net to see what classes it belongs to but I have not found an option for this.

Sorry if my questions are not clear.

Regards,

Filip

As far as I'm aware the ability to add properties to nets was binned many years ago in favour of Constraint Manager.

I was a Concept user at the time, I assume the same was done for the OrCAD flow.

Since 17.2 this is like this Disappointed

Last version to be able to handle NET_PHYSICAL_TYPE and NET_SPACING_TYPE (and i guesss NET_ELECTRICAL_TYPE) was 16.6

Big loss for me and a lot of colleagues.

Workaround: create a user propertyin schematic (say MY_NET_SPACING and MY_NET_PHYSICAL),and use it into allegro to assigne NET_SPACING NET_PHYSICAL.

Or use the pretty unusable cronstrint manager (and Nxxx nets Disappointed)

    Thanks for your answer!

I hadn't thought of that workaround. I agree, big loss.
