Custom Off-Page Connectors

SpaceBird

Hello,

I would like to use some custom Off-Page connectors at my company. I have the symbol and have added the library to the place-> Off-Page Connector dialog. This all works fine.

I recently started using the CoolEditBox to speed up development time. However, placing an off-page with CoolEditBox only places the default Cadence symbols >> or <<. Is there a way to change the default symbols that CoolEditBox is using?

Thanks

Not 100% certain but look at the installation directory for CoolEditBox for a library called EDAIS.olb. This contains the offpage connectors etc. You should be able to put your symbols in there and see if they are then used. Make a backup copy first (as I said - not 100% on this).

That worked great thanks! It would be great if I could keep those in our central library, but that will definitely work for now.
