Linking database parts in Capture CIS 17.4 is very slow

Hello all,

I am relatively new to Orcad, especially to its CIS/CIP part. I've noticed that it takes ages to link database parts, on average about 10 seconds per part. Is this normal? Is there any way to speed up the process?

    What are you using as your data source? 

    EMA-EDA's CIP uses MS-SQL, which has a freeware version.
