Liao hi
Liao hi over 1 year ago

The orcad capture always breakout when I use the command "make root".   it shows the message "ERROR(ORCAP-1356):memory exhausted, you can close and/ or release memory in other applications and retry Note that a cancel immediately exits the application"

    Hi Liao,

Please let us know the SPB tool version you are working on (like SPB22.1 or SPB23.1) also confirm if this is a design specific issue or reproducible on multiple designs.

I have found the reason. The breakout because of the "online DRC". you should turn off the "online DRC" in the desgin rules check if there are a lot of DRC error. The online DRC will autorun when i use the make root. Hope this can help others.
