orcad export netlist not responding

Hi when I export the netlist in capture 17.2 and Allegro Design Entry CIS 17.4.

the progress has been running here at netlisting the design and there was no error in the log session. This has been going on for half an hour now.

I have tried to reboot my computer and reinstall the software.

how can I fix this issue? thank you.

Which hotfix of 17.4 you are using?

Can you try with the sample schematic designs present at ->C:\Cadence\SPB_23.1\tools\capture\samples\Schematic

Is the design present on server?

Try renaming your cdssetup and see if it creates any difference

I remember I once had problems with netlist generation. I dont remember if it was hanging. But, the thing was that I had a multi symbol part where where one or more properties content didn't match. Capture seems to use selected properties to build up the part instance names in the netlist, and with deviating properties among the multi-symbols there were added a space in one of the instance names, and things failed. But as mentioned above, I dont remember if it hanged or gave some error message.

It seems to fail on a multisymbol(CON1A) in your case so maybe it is related.
