Problems with running scripts inside skill in 16.2

Hi,
I'm trying to create a skill program for doing a lot of stuff.
I've attached my script file for generating drill files.
If I run axlShell("replay ns_drill.scr" ) from my skill window it runs fine.
If I run "skill axlShell("replay ns_drill.scr" )" from my command window inside PCB Editor it works fine.
If I however use the line axlShell("replay ns_drill.scr" ) inside a skill program it fails with "E- Can't find window; form.nc_drill"
So what is the problem here?
I'm also still curious to get the dbid of an open form? is it possible to retrieve information and do settings in an existing Cadence form somehow through Skill?
Best regards,
Ole

    Hi,

Thanks for your help on this.

I found out that my command was not registered with any ?cmdType - and hence defaults to interactive. So setting it to general fixed the problem.

I'll however try the suggestion with the axlShell(runScript) also, sometimes assigning to a variable first fixes some problems.

    Best regards,

    Ole
