Any Way to identify double hits (Via)?

If  on the same net DRC, due to the stack via design. Alot of DRC will apply also.

Is there a way to identify this issue? Pls advice.

    Hi Olivier,

    I can't think of a better way than the method you are using. An alternative is to waive the drc and notify your fabricator.

     Thanks Dave. Yes that's what we've been doing until now. Waive the DRCs and get the fab shop to remove the duplicate holes.

    Hi Dave,

    thanks for this utility!  A delete option would be nice to have :)

     

    Some issues:

    - the 'external DRC' buttons are not enabled, but the external DRCs are generated.

    - When I click on the 'X' of the form Allegro crashes.  (16.6.S029). This happens everytime.

    The exit button works fine though.

    I've also tried the normal .il file and the context file, both generate the same crash.

    Try the attached... (16.6 only)

    Use  loadContext to load the file and register the command using axlCmdRegister("find double hits" 'FDH_findDoubleHitHoles)

    dbdoctor can Eliminate duplicate vias.
    CM will prevent overlapping vias.
