skill code to refresh symbol in Allegro?

Hi,  I'm looking for some skill code or advice on how to refresh symbols in Allegro.  Specifically, I'd like to be able to do the equivalent of the "refresh symbol" command for one symbol.

  •  There is no direct axl call but there is a batch program refresh_symbol. The program can take a list file with that contains a list of symbol names to refresh. So from skill to refresh a symbol:

    - generate the list file with the name(s) of the symbols to refresh

    - call refresh_symbol via axlRunBatchDBProgram (with the option to save & reload the database) with the the list file as an option

     To determine the command line options to refresh_symbol start a DOS command window and type: refresh_symbol -help
