skill code to refresh symbol in Allegro?

Hi, I'm looking for some skill code or advice on how to refresh symbols in Allegro. Specifically, I'd like to be able to do the equivalent of the "refresh symbol" command for one symbol.

Many thanks! I was hoping to avoid the batch program, but if that's what I have to do, then I'll live with it.
