How to get dynamic cursor's location?

Hello everybody,

I'd like to get the dynamic cursor location in a program, and take it as a variant. But I can't find the command or solution.

Is there any SKILL command, which returns dynamic cursor's xy location? Like as AxlEnterPoint or AxlLastPick to get the point data .

Have a good day!

I have the same question. It is said in another Cadence product, Custom IC design, there is a skill function, hiGetPoint, can return the cursor's XY, maybe there is not a counterpart of that one.

After all, if no superman can answer this question, I ultimately plan to use a GAMEBUSTer to see what happen when I move the cursor. Ha.

you can use shell command " mouse_pos" to move the end of a bubber-bend when you add line. But the real cursor don't move only if you move your mouse. But , if you look carefully at the position of cursor when you zoom in or out , the cursor's location is unchanged. That is to say, we can calculate the xy of the cursor by using axlWindowBoxGet and zooming.

that is only method  I know.  And if you know how to move the cursor by SKILL, pls tell me . thanks

I don't know how to move cursor or get the cursor position by SKILL yet.

And I tried to use the command "mouse_pos", it's impossible to calculate the cursor's postion either.

I think that there must be an internal command to get cursor's position. The value is displayed in the Status Window at lower-right in Allegro window.

There is no direct API in Skill for query or warping the cursor position.
