Can you use axlRunBatchDBprogram("notepad" ......) to open an attached file?

 Hi all,

I created an attached file, using axlCreateAttach(), I want to open the attachment in notepad. Is there a way to use axlRunBatchDBprogram() to open it and edit the file? If so, what would be the syntax?

Thanks,

Jerry

    I got this, almost, working using :

     axlRunBatchDBProgram("mynotepad" sprintf(nil, "notepad %s",axlGetAttachment("attach3" 'file)->data ?noUnload t ?noProgress t)

    The only issue is that the text is missing returns. It comes in all one line. Any suggestions??

    Thanks,

    Jerry
