how to create user padstack layers

Hi

I've looked for a way to create a layer like "PIN/mymask_top" but not been able to do so

axlLayerCreateNonConductor does not allow me to create subclasses on PIN.

Anyone with an idea how this can be accomplished?

Best regards

Ole

    Hi Dave

I've used the method of manufacturing/pastemak_top as well, it can be added both to symbols and pins.

I know functionality exists for 17 as well, but according to the documentation for 16.6 this should also be possible.

The example file dbcreate\pad.il shows the methodology - but currently I'm getting an illegal pad message that don't allow me to create user mask layers. I've seeded the database in Allegro with the user mask layers that I need since I can't create PIN class objects using SKILL commands.

    Best regards
